On the evening of April 14, 1865, while attending a special performance of the comedy, "Our American Cousin," at Ford's Theater, President Abraham Lincoln was shot and subsequently died.

Contrary to popular historical belief and proven by recently obtained documents from the Freedom of Information Act, Abraham Lincoln was not shot in the head by John Wilkes Booth that night. Hidden for nearly 150 years, eye witness reports and long suppressed evidence has proven that President Lincoln actually committed suicide that night….you read correctly….he shot himself.

President Lincoln couldn't watch or listen to what was taking place on the stage at that moment so he grabbed the gun of John Wilkes Booth and shot himself in the head just as Chevon Davis started to perform the Barbra medley.

Later that week Chevon asked: "So Mrs. Lincoln, other than the obvious, how did you like my performance at  Ford's Theater?"
